Online, hybrid or in-person event? What is the best option?
During the COVID-19 pandemic, there were several live shows of singers performing from their homes or studios, live shows of brands to promote a launch and/or special offers, or even synchronous courses. This was one of the types of entertainment during quarantine for most people.
After the flexibilization, it was possible to observe several mainly corporate events that adhered to the hybrid format, that is, part of the content was shown online and part was shown in person, allowing for greater interaction and connection of the participants. With the vaccination and consequently the total authorization of in-person events, some events have returned to their primary in-person format and others that were online have become fully in-person.
The big question is: What would be the best event format? And the answer is: It depends. Who is the audience for your event? What is the topic of your event? How long will it take? Is it a class? A dynamic? To help you, here are the advantages of the three event models:
1- Online event: It allows anyone with internet access to connect, breaking the distance barrier.
2- Hybrid event: People who live near the location of the event can go and interact, and people who do not live near the location or have some other restriction can consume the content of the event. It is possible to attend to both types of public.
3- In-person event: In events with this format, it is possible to interact more with the participants, in addition to feeling the touch of a product or smelling a cosmetic or food product.
All three event formats have their characteristics and advantages, and the most important thing is to understand the purpose of your event and the target audience. Regardless of the format, you can have simultaneous subtitles in Portuguese, Spanish, or English with Legenda.Live
