There are participants who are deaf or hard of hearing at my corporate event. What now?
The person who produces a corporate event has several concerns, such as budgeting, time management, lecturers, and logistics, among others. In recent years, attention to accessibility has increased even more. Today, for example, it is mandatory for events in Brazil to have adapted toilets according to PLC 32/2017. Another concern is in relation to ramps and adapted flooring to ensure that anyone can participate.
For deaf and hard of hearing people, one of the solutions is interpreters of Libras, the Brazilian Sign Language. In addition, it is possible to use simultaneous subtitles from Legenda.Live, in which the lecturer speaks into the microphone, the voice is transmitted through the platform on the notebook, and then the subtitles are generated on the event screen and/or in the Legenda.Live app.
Increasing the accessibility of your event is directly linked to increasing the reach of your brand and consequently your content.
